When I was 17, my best friend from high school asked me if I wanted to do a photoshoot out in the woods. We found ourselves shooting at abandoned houses, clay fields, and rock quarries with other local models. Three years later, we would be walking the runway in the Hamptons. It was the beginning of summer, and I thought, “Why not spend the summer in NYC? I’ve never been here”.
What ensued was a carousel of couch surfing, effectively homeless from May - December of 2019. In June, I was scouted. In July, I was signed to Crawford Models. At the time, my agency back home in Arkansas was thrilled. I, myself, was freaking out. I was still in college! That fall would be the beginning of my senior year. Was I going to give up the biggest opportunity and go home to finish? Thankfully, I was able to finish online and graduate that spring with a degree in archaeology and a minor in political science - (Yes, I have dug up ancient graves).
In the meantime, I was running to castings all over the city with bleeding toes and a $.99 slice calling my name once the day was done. Coming home, meant a model apartment with bunk beds and 7-8 girls who became my core group of friends. Those are the fondest memories of the beginning.
My experience and humble beginnings bred me into a refined version of myself, with a presence in modeling, real estate, and New York City as a whole.
My life has been a movie, sequel after sequel, season after season. Going on my 6th year in this city, I am here to showcase my work, create and connect with brands, and provide an opportunity for aspiring models to get familiar with the world they aim to be a part of. I am the cheerleader in your corner, and the bubbly personality on set. Let’s chat, let’s get to work.
